Chinese carpet with Aubusson pattern

Rare Chinese carpet of excellent manufacture that imitates an Aubusson Charles X. The workmanship is consistent and excellent, the design faithfully repeats a French example of the Charles X period, even in the measure: cm. 386 x 353. Many years ago I had an authentic Aubusson with these characteristics, certainly with a different charm. However this is a sturdy rug with pleasant colors, which can be easily set in a living room. ref. nr. 670
