Diana Huntress - gilt bronze nineteenth

Sculpture representing Diana the huntress, holding in her hand her bow and in the other an arrow. She carries on her head the crescent moon. Imprint of the mannerist style, this sculpture is closer to the work of Michel Anguier or that of Prieur. Marble base molded and turned. Work of the nineteenth century. Very good state; slight égrenure on the marble base. Height of the bronze 24.2 cm. Total height with base: 34 cm.
