PAOLO SALA - (Milan 1859 - 1924) - Notre Dame
Oil painting on plywood, signed lower left depicting a view of Notre Dame in Paris Dimensions: 28.5x23 cm
He devoted himself to painting after studying architecture with C. Boito in Brera. He traveled to France, England, Argentina, Russia, where he decorated the Petersburg conservatory hall. He founded the Society of Lombard Watercolorists (1911) in Milan.
