Rare ancient Turkish kilim SIVAs

Rare specimen of SIVAS Turkish kilim, with very fine texture and a rare red color, obtained from the madder root with a long process. Rather subtle, therefore delicate for heavy use, rather suitable for resting on a table: as seen in the paintings of 1500-1600-1700; or (why not?) as a scenographic bedspread. It dates back to the early 1900s (1910-1920) and is certainly the work of a good weaver (or a weaver). The wool was spun and dyed by hand. (Nr.19)
